Just a few thoughts

I've been wondering what the heck is going on. People seem so different this past year. Are you seeing the same? It's raining outside and quite cold. My home is warm but i've been feeling a draft. The draft is a little too cold for me. It snowed here in sunny California. People freak and either get elated or crash their cars. Kinda funny to watch. It's not rocket science to drive with some form of brain. I'm not some out of this world driver but i am good---you gotta be now a days. The highways are pretty scary. What's with this 6 hours of driver training and then they let the poor child of 15, loose on the road without a clue and oh yeah! I forgot the PARENTS get to teach them and oops what era did they grow up in? The 70's? I don't know just thought that was kinda funny, if your my age you'll laugh at that one.... or not. Anyway, just sittin here contemplating life. I stayed out of the news today, kept the plasma window off to the rest of the world...all 10 billion of them stayed out of my living room today. It gets kinda crowded in here when i invite them in. Do you ever look at it that way? You actually invite a lot of people, half of whom don't belong here in the first place and if they were walkin' around you'd actually never talk to them, let alone invite them right into your home. Reminds me of watchin "Up in Smoke" the other night. Plasma on and there's Cheech burnin one right in your living room. How about Scarface? Now, HE seems like pretty good company. "Hey Cheech! Say Hello to my Little friend!" I'm a big movie buff, love watching movies. Except the Saw dude......On another note, I talked with my mom the other day and she told me my aunt had all her christmas shopping done for everyone. My mom replied "Wow! That's great!" Aunty replied, "Yeah, I bought everyone a Wii, their $200 bucks!" "Sis thats a lot of money!" said my mom but my aunt said "Oh no, it only cost me $200.00!" As my mom told me this I was thinking "OKKK, how'd my aunt pull that one off?" Well then my aunt said, "I just bought one!" I laughed pretty hard considering my aunt lives on the top of a mountain and it takes about an hour to get up there if your lucky to even make it through the heavy snow. "Wow! what a gift!" it cracked me up! I told my mom as we both hysterically laughed about it, "That's like if I bought a cool car for eveyone for Christmas and told all my family they could come to my house and i would give them a ride in it on christmas and any time they bothered to visit"... Merry Christmas! I guess it's gettin pretty tight with the old Green Back... I was in the dollar store the other day and picked out some Thanksgiving center piece candles and a couple other small items. As i stood there the poor girl behind the counter kept apologizing and explaining that the candles were a $1.25 each or three for x amount of money but she still had to charge me a $1.25 for the 4th candle. I said, "Hey that's ok, no big deal." I turned to my loved one and said, "Didn't this used to be the dollar store?" "Oh yeah! the dollars only worth 75 cents, thats why they raised everything to $1.25!" Ha Ha We laughed! Talk to you soon!!!! God bless......
